Gilliam elected to community board

The Farmers National Bank has elected Sheree Hogue Gilliam as a member of the Lincoln County Community Board.

Gilliam, vice president of customer services with Inter-County Energy, has 30 years of electric utility experience. She holds a degree in business administration and is a graduate of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association's Management Internship Program.

She has been involved in numerous community activities including The United Way, Relay for Life, March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity, Kiwanis, and Leadership Boyle County. She is currently active in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and is a Big Sister mentor at Stanford Elementary School and a member of the Stanford Renaissance Board of Directors. She currently is also serving as an advisor for Leadership Lincoln County, director on the Fort Logan Hospital Board and Chamber Ambassador for the Lincoln County Chamber.

A lifetime resident of Lincoln County, she resides with her husband, Don. They have two grown children, Ashley and Alyssa, and attend New Beginnings United Methodist Church in Stanford.

In making this announcement, Greg Caudill, president of Farmers National Bank, said, "We are very pleased that Sheree has agreed to join our Lincoln County Community Board. One of the responsibilities of this group is to be a conduit of information about the community both to and from our organization. With all that Sheree is involved in she is imminently qualified to help us in that regard.
