Cassandra Louise Buck Blanton, 24, of Lexington, formerly of West Liberty and Crab Orchard, died Sunday, Sept. 21 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A native of West Liberty, she was born Aug. 5, 1984 to Edgar King and Reeca Lee Practer of West Liberty. She was a student at Bluegrass Technical College in Lexington where she was studying radiology and a member of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include her husband, Christopher Paul Blanton of Lexington; a daughter, Aaliyah McCarty of Mt. Sterling; step son, Jaydn Andrew Blanton of Crab Orchard; sisters, Perdita Wireman of Lexington, Ralisha Howard of Flemingsburg, and twins, Nathena Madden of Liberty and brother, Nathaniel Buck of Grayson, Betty Lou King of Irvine, and Christy King, Chrystal King, and Carrie King all of West Liberty; another brother, A. J. King of West Liberty; maternal grandmother, Mable Nichol of West Liberty; and foster parents, Mary and Less Marksberry of Olympia.
