Approximately 40 people entered the Winchester Fire Department's two-mile run Sunday afternoon to launch Fire Prevention Week. Billie Brant and Jessie Phillips tied for first place in the women's division and Ken Catron was first in the men's division.
The planning committee of the League of Women Voters of Clark County met recently to finalize plans for the Open Forum for candidates for the office of city commissioner.
