Minnie Jane Phillips Taylor, 86, died Monday, Sept. 29 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
A native of Stanford, she was born July 7, 1922 to the late Reed T. and Nannie Troxell Phillips. She was retired from Palm Beach Company and the widow of Silas Taylor.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Taylor.
Survivors include two sons, James Taylor and Silas Taylor, Jr., both of Lancaster; two daughters, Jane Porier of Springfield and Regina Taylor of Stanford; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a great, great grandchild.
Funeral services were Oct. 3 at Stith Funeral Home and Family Center in Junction City. Burial was in Moreland Cemetery.
