Nicholasville/Jessamine County Parks and Recreation will open registration for its youth basketball and cheerleading program.
Seven- to 18-year-olds can register for basketball and kindergarten through 5th graders can register as cheerleaders. The ages are as of Dec. 31.
Registration begins Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parks and Rec office at City/County Park. Registration ends Nov. 7.
The cost for 1 child will be $75, two children $130, three children $180 and four or more children will cost $55. Please bring a copy of a birth certificate when registering.
