Lexington Ballet rehearsal

LEXINGTON - Take advantage of this rare opportunity to see the Lexington Ballet rehearse and give dance presentations as part of Gallery Hop Events. Stop by ArtsPlace, 161 N. Mill St., between 5 and 8 p.m. to get a taste of the preparation that goes into a production like "The Nutcracker" and, from 5 to 6 p.m., experience the regular downtown gallery hop.

SATURDAY, NOV. 22

Long hike at Lower Howards Creek

This long hike will go upstream on the West Fork tributary of Lower Howards Creek and will take about four hours. It is a strenuous walk and is limited to 15 people. For more information, call 744-4888.

Photo album class

GEORGETOWN - A photo album-making class begins today at ArtWorks, 800 Cincinnati Road, Suite 5, Building 3, at 10 a.m. The class will be held every Tuesday through Dec. 16 and will teach students to organize, enhance and journal up to 30 completed pages. GEORGETOWN - The second annual Gallery and Gifts Holiday Show has begun at the Scout County Arts and Cultural Center.
