Danville audiologist completes doctorate

Tracy Galloway of Danville is now certified as a doctor of audiology after completing her doctorate from Salus University in Pennsylvania. She practices with Drs. John C. Hignight and Jonathan M. Doty, board-certified physicians in otolaryngology (head and neck surgery).

Galloway earned her bachelor's degree in hearing and speech science from Ohio University in 1998 and her master's degree in audiology from University of Tennessee in 2000.

She has practiced with Hignight and Doty for five years. Her scope of practice includes providing hearing evaluations to patients ranging from infants to adults and fitting and prescribing hearing aids for patients as well as hearing protection and swim plugs.

University of Indianapolis: Chelsey Wood of Danville will star as Georgie in "Spike Heels," a contemporary comedy presented Saturday and today and Dec. 4-6. Wood is a sophomore and a graduate of Danville High School.
