STANFORD - A fire that began late Wednesday night and continued through the early hours this morning left a barn completely destroyed. No one was hurt in the blaze; however, various pieces of farm equipment were deemed a total loss.
Lincoln County Fire Chief Danny Glass said the call came in a few minutes after midnight reporting a fully-involved fire at 1218 Ky. 501. The barn was owned by Bruce Stull, according to his mother, Judy Stull.
When firefighters arrived, the barn already had partially collapsed.
"There was really no chance to save anything," said Glass. "It had been burning for sometime before we got there."
An estimated 25 firefighters responded.
Arson has not been ruled out, and the investigation is on-going.
