Harold Wayne Mershon, Sr., 65, of Lancaster, died Saturday, Nov. 29 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.
A native of Garrard County, he was born Friday, Oct. 1, 1943 to the late Willie Earl and Mary Hazel Hume Mershon. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Morgan Mershon; one son, Harold Wayne Mershon, Jr.; two daughters, Kimberly Jo Mershon and Cassie Foley; one brother, Earl Glenden Mershon; and three sisters, Iva D. Tipton, Alleta Foley, and Sue Simpson.
Graveside services were Dec. 3 at Camp Nelson Cemetery with military rites.
Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
