The annual Green Tea offered at the Ephraim McDowell House will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday. Hosted by the Garden Club of Danville, the public is invited to see Dr. McDowell's home decorated as it might have been 200 years ago.
Natural greenery, berries and pine boughs dress up the period rooms on display for self-guided tours. The dining room table will be laid with sweets and holiday treats accompanied by hot spiced tea.
Admission to the event is free and no reservations are required.
Donations will be accepted to benefit the Salvation Army and Family Services of Boyle County.
