Indian Old Fields Homemakers and Towne and Country Homemakers have joined forces to work on a "Bags of Love" project for Clark County.
"Bags of Love" are handmade fabric bags containing a fleece blanket, stuffed animal or doll, toys or games, personal items and school supplies.
The bags are tailored to various age groups of boys and girls who have been removed from their homes and placed in foster care. The gifts are aimed at helping them cope with a very difficult time of adjustment.
The first "Bags of Love" have been delivered to Community Services, where Judy Crowe will be in charge of final distribution.
