Danville's Wilma Noel missed only two games to win last week's Central Kentucky Plumbing Beat the Experts Basketball Contest.
Noel wins a $10 Marathon gas card available at The Advocate-Messenger circulation department during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
Noel's eight correct choices were not only better than any of the other 123 contestants, but she also had more right than anyone on the expert panel. Former UK All-American Kyle Macy and sponsor Richie Lyons both had seven games right with Lyons closer on the tiebreaker score of Kentucky's win over Indiana.
Those with seven games right who beat Lyons on the tiebreaker score were as follows: Danny Strevels, Stanford; Dana Reising, Danville; Keith Tarter, Danville; Al Atmore, Danville; and Kenny Bottoms, Danville.
