Carolyn Estes Hager, 60, of Nicholasville, beloved wife of Bronce Hager for 38 years, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008. She is the daughter and the light of the life of Ernest Verlon and Ruth Wells Estes where she was born June 5, 1948 in Bourbon County.
She was a retired beautician and former school bus driver for the Jessamine County school system for 18 years where she enjoyed working with the kids. She is also survived by two brothers, Ernest and wife Connie Estes and Steve and wife Missy Estes, a very special aunt and uncle, Helen and Dickie Rankin.
She will also be greatly missed by numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, 21 nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews, five great-great nieces and nephews and other family members. She will be dearly missed by her very special pet, Patches.
Services were at 2 p.m., Dec. 13 at Betts & West Funeral Home with the Rev. Clint Hurt officiating. Burial followed in the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation was Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from Noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
