Dear Editor,
I watched President-elect Obama nominate his new Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, recently. I was quite impressed with all his degrees and accomplishments. Then it was his turn to speak and during his speech, he said: "He gave my sister and I ..." Needless to say, I became quite unimpressed from that point on and tuned to another station. When the man responsible for of all education doesn't use correct English, how can we expect students to do so?
