WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

- Joshua Anders, 18, of Mount Sterling, was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property (three counts).

- Cody W. King, 18, of Mount Sterling, was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property (three counts).

- Erik M. Meadows, 29, of 420 Colby Ridge Road, was charged Tuesday with no registration plates and no insurance.

- Rocky Smith, 49, of 368 E. Washington St., was charged Tuesday with non-payment of fines, violating an EPO/DVO, fleeing or evading police and resisting arrest.

- James A. Miller, 25, of 35 Flanagan St., was charged Tuesday with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Reports

- At 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, officers executed an arrest warrant at a residence on East Washington Street for Rocky Smith. After officers identified themselves, they saw Smith run through the residence and lock himself in a back room. After locating him, he refused to place his hands behind his back and was forced to do so. Smith was charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police and resisting arrest.

- At 3:05 a.m. today, Pamela J. Casey of 15 Moundale Ave. reported that someone stole her electric box, cutting off the electricity to her home.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

- Cody Wayne King, 18, of Mount Sterling, was charged Tuesday with first-degree burglary.

- Joshua Neal Anders, 18, of Mount Sterling, was charged Tuesday with first-degree burglary.

Reports

- At 1:28 p.m. Tuesday, Mollie Talbott of 1360 Donaldson Road, reported that someone broke into her home and took several pieces of property including a .380 semi-automatic handgun and $60 in coins.

Accidents

- At 5:42 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on the Mountain Parkway in which Kelly D. Snapp of 329 Colby Ridge Road was traveling east, struck a patch of ice and spun out of control. Snapp's car struck the bridge several times before being struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Patricia O. Sparks of Stanton. Snapp was transported to the hospital.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

- On Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to three falls, eight transfers and five general medical calls.

- On Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to two general medical calls, four transfers and two falls.

- At 11:10 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm malfunction at 1200 Rolling Hills Road.

- At 8:32 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 160 Milwood Drive.

- AT 4:54 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm malfunction at 19 Wainscott.
