Officers of a newly formed club at George Rogers Clark High School, Brainwaves, were recently announced. They include Lyn Carlisle, secretary; Melissa Atchison, fundraising chairperson; Bill Wengert, treasurer; Chip Chapman, vice president; Mark Davidson, president; and Tom Conner, program chairman. The club, which began in October, has approximately 150 members and is open to any student. Sponsors of the club are Laura Temple, Nell Sue Cheatham, Marie Johnson and Ann Humble.
Mrs. Margaret Garrett, daughter of Mrs. Lula Howard, Winchester, was promoted to executive assistant to the chairperson of the Department of Public Administration at George Washington University.
