Carolyn Estes Hager, 60, beloved wife of Bronce Hager for 38 years, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 9. She is the daughter and the light of the life of Ernest Verlon and Ruth Wells Estes Sr.
She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church and attended other churches. She was a retired beautician and retired from the Jessamine County school system as a school bus driver for 18 years, where she enjoyed working with the kids. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the outdoors.
She is also survived by two brothers, Ernest and wife Connie Estes Jr. and Steve and wife Missy Estes, a very special aunt and uncle, Helen and Dickie Rankin.
She will also be greatly missed by 12 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, 17 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews, five great-great nieces and nephews and other family members. She will be dearly missed by her very special dog, Patches.
