Maggie Prewitt scored nine points and Huter and reserve Chelsea Luckey had four each during the run, which left the Colonels with a 33-17 lead with 3 minutes, 27 seconds left in the first half.
The Colonels led by 18 points at halftime after going 14-for-27 from the field in the first half and by as many as 25 in the second half. Spalding (6-5) never got closer than 10 points.
"It was a pretty good day all around, built on another good defensive day," the Centre coach said. "We took better care of the ball today and we finally shot better all around."
Huter had nine rebounds and two blocked shots, Prewitt had seven assists and Goodman had five rebounds, five assists and three steals in addition to going 4-for-6 from 3-point range, where Centre was 8-for-21.
The Colonels' defense forced 21 turnovers by Spalding, a team they defeated 87-61 in their season opener Nov. 21.
