Edna Dixon Caudill, 97, of Louisville, formerly Stanford, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Baptist Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Letcher County, she was born Jan. 15, 1911, to the late Dawson and Addie Whitaker Dixon. She was a homemaker and the widow of Castle Caudill.
Survivors include three sons, Ray Neal (Zella) Caudill of Lexington, Ronnie Gene (Sandy) Caudill of Stanford and Robert Darrell (Karen) Caudill of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; one daughter, Harriett Ann Caudill Sizemore of Louisville; a brother, Bill Dean (Dorothy) Dixon of Perrysburg, Ohio; a sister, Katie Hampton of Apison, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Jan. 5 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford with Elder Murl Caudill and Haston Whitaker officiating. Burial was in Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg.
