Dean's list

Asbury College: Edward Charles Delp III, a freshman and a graduate of Boyle County High School. He is the son of Edward and Denise Delp of Danville.

Spencerian College: Mallory Edmiston Goggans has received the Dean's List Outstanding Achievement Award for her second consecutive semester. She attended Eastern Kentucky University for two years, and entered Spencerian College in the summer of 2008 to continue her studies and pursue a degree in the medical, nursing field. She and her husband, Joseph Goggans, have a 2-year-old daughter; Aurelia Rose. Mallory is the daughter of Billie Debie Wise and Roy Edmiston Jr. and the daughter-in-law of Lori and Mark Goggans, all of Danville.

Graduate

Eastern Kentucky University: Casey A. Underwood of Lancaster graduated Dec. 20 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting & Electronic Media. He is the son of Randy and Peggy Underwood of Lancaster and the grandson of Edna Underwood of Danville.

Scholarships

National College of Business and Technology: Jana Laswell of Hustonville and Savannah McMullin of Danville are winners of the Imagine America Scholarship.

The Imagine America Scholarship exists to aid high school seniors planning to attend a career college. Graduates from secondary schools with a GPA of at least 2.5 may be considered for the Imagine America Scholarship.

This scholarship is privately funded through the Imagine America Foundation and up to three $1,000 scholarships may be awarded for each participating high school.
