Dear Editor,
President-elect Barack Obama has been promoting an economic stimulus package which includes putting roughly $300 billion dollars back into taxpayers' pockets. It seems to be broadly accepted across the board that this is needed to "stimulate" the economy.
Of course, had this money not been taken from the taxpayer to begin with, in the form of sky high federal taxes, it would be in the hands of the taxpayer right now stimulating the economy. You gotta laugh.
