In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, many of Clark County's government offices, community agencies and financial institutions will be closed.
All Clark County Schools will be closed, along with Saint Agatha Academy, and Clark County Christian School.
City, county and state offices will be closed as well as Clark County Community Services, the Clark County Public Library, the U.S. Post Office, the Clark County Health Department, Clark County Home Health and the Clark County Cooperative Extension Office. Winchester Municipal Utilities will remain open, however.
Most local banks will also be closed, including Alliance Banking, BB&T, Central Bank, Citizens Guaranty, Community Trust, Kentucky Bank, National City, Peoples Exchange, Traditional Bank and Winchester Federal.
The Daniel Boone National Forest Headquarters on the Bypass will also be closed.
The Winchester Sun will be open during its normal hours and will publish a Monday edition.
