Danville City Commission - 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Inter-County Energy Community Room - Agenda includes a second reading of the date and time for regular commission meetings.
Rain Garden Workshop - 9 a.m.- noon Jan. 24 at the Boyle County Extension Office, 99 Corporate Drive, the Bluegrass Rain Garden Alliance will present a program discussing rain gardens and how they can help control water run off. The workshop is free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but in order to have enough educational materials for everyone attending, it would help to call. The workshop is sponsored by the Boyle County Cooperative Extension Service, City of Danville, Clark's Run Environmental and Educational Corporation and Bluegrass Rain Garden Alliance.
Master Gardner Program - Feb. 2, Boyle and Mercer County cooperative extension services have scheduled the class. It will be 14 sessions and there is a $ 75 fee to cover the manual for the class.
