Letter: Column will be kept, reread

February 01, 2009

Editor,

I usually make it a habit to read the letters and efforts of the contributing columnists on your editorial page. There are several that I usually agree with and there are those, usually from the lunatic left, that make me wonder about the sanity of the originator.

Recently I read a column from Ms. Harrison-Pace that made me stop. Stop and think about life in general and my life to be more specific.

She sounds like someone I'd like to meet. I, too, have had the opportunity to work overseas in several countries and observe the ways of life much different from ours here in Kentucky. It makes one appreciate what we enjoy here in the center of our great country.

Thank you, Ms. Harrison-Pace for a great column. I'll save it for at least the next few years and re-read it when my path seems obscured. It is a great, worthwhile, example of what I'd hope life in the United States is meant to be - living your dreams.
