The Casey County boys fell behind South Laurel early and could never catch up, dropping a 71-62 decision on Tuesday night at Liberty.
The Rebels trailed 40-28 at halftime and outscored South Laurel by only three points in the second half.
Elliot Cannon had a double-double for Casey (8-17) with 16 points and 11 rebounds, and he also had three assists, while Brad Jeffries scored a team-high 17 points.
Jordan Spangoletti had six rebounds and Kyle Jeffries had five steals and four rebounds for the Rebels.
South Laurel (19-7) got 23 points from Matt St. John and 21 from Wes Dean.
