Crime Stoppers offers reward

HARRODSBURG - Mercer County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those involved in a home invasion March 8 on Longview Drive.

Two white males rang the doorbell, told the female resident they had run out of gas and asked to use the telephone. When she handed them the phone, they jerked the door open and gained entry.

Inside, they rifled through drawers in the bedroom and left with the victim's handbag, phone and a firearm.

The victim described one suspect as tall and skinny and the other as short and stocky. Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at (859) 733-9115 or contact Detective Garry Bradshaw at the Harrodsburg Police Department.
