Dean's list

Wittenberg University: Taylor Hafley, son of Joseph and Melanie Hafley of Stanford. The Lincoln County High School graduate was one of six students selected from 60 applicants to participate in an eight-week, full-time summer internship with the city last summer. Hafley was hired by the city as a result of his work during the internship. He also works on campus with the university advancement office. He maintains a geography major and a political science minor. Hafley also is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and was a member of the university's golf team for two years.

Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine - Jessie Lay recently received a clinical white coat presented to students at the end of their junior year to mark the transition from veterinary sciences into senior clinical rotations where students help administer patient care. Lay attended Eastern Kentucky University and is a 2002 graduate of Boyle County High School. She is the daughter of Danny and Jo Anne Lay of Danville.
