Winchester Chorale spring practice today

The Winchester Chorale will be holding rehearsals today for their spring concert at 7 p.m. at Central Baptist Church. Today is the last day for new members to join. Rehearsals are held every Monday.

East Clark water board meets tonight

The East Clark County Water District Board of Commissioners will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. today at 118 Hopkins Lane.

Kiwanis Club to meet

The Clark County Kiwanis Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bartons, 120 April Way. The guest speaker will be Michelle Rodgers, Clark County's Junior Miss who will compete in the national competition in June. Donna Fuller will be the program chair.

School board to meet Tuesday

The Clark County Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. at the central office.

The board will set a date to discuss school facilities, hear and update on the street project at Strode Station Elementary School, authorize capital outlay expenditures and consider various reports.

Science fair projects from three elementary schools will be displayed in the auditorium prior to the meeting, and science fair finalists will be recognized at the meeting.

Public forum planned on Irvine Road work

The state Transportation Cabinet has scheduled a public information meeting concerning two of the widening projects on Irvine Road (Ky. 89). One project is just near the city limits, and the second project is the one known as Harvey Crowe's Curve.

The meeting is March 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Shearer Elementary School, 244 E. Broadway.
