Oneeta Sanders Barnes, 85, of Lancaster, died Sunday, March 8 at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster.
A native of Mercer County, she was born Aug. 24, 1923, to the late Milton and Madie Beasley Sanders. She was a farmer, nurse's aide at the Garrard County Hospital, member of the Lancaster Baptist Church and the widow of Charles William Barnes.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie (Janice) Barnes and Donnie (Karen) Barnes both of Lancaster; sister, Margaret Ann Deering of Perryville; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 11 at Ramsey Funeral Home in Lancaster. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.
