The February Meeting of the Alpha Alpha chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa was held at Shearer School Library on Feb. 9.
During this working meeting, members prepared 137 goody bags. Each bag contained an apple, orange, banana, chips, dessert treat, cheese and crackers, a handful of candy and a valentine.
These bags were given with love to the 120 residents of the Winchester Centre for Health and Rehabilitation and the 17 residents of the Senior Care Unit of Clark Regional Medical Center.
Members present were Katherine Baber, Janet Campbell, Alva Clark, Carolyn Fugate, Jo Gravett, Ann Hampton, Amy Handshoe, Nancy Hanna, Donna Hewson, Barbara Huff, Ann Humble, Ruth Anne Moore, Becky Mozingo, Carol Anne Oliver and Judi Stone.
