The Winchester Community Theatre is proud to present its first performance of the season, "Holka Polka."
The play was performed for the students of Pilot View and Fannie Bush elementaries Wednesday and Thursday at Trapp Elementary. There was also an evening performance Thursday at the Winchester Opera House. All proceeds from the public performance went to benefit the Contemporary Appalachian Art Center, located on the third floor of the Opera House.
The children's group, Shenanigans!, will have one summer performance. Anyone interested in participating in the children's theater should call the Contemporary Appalachian Art Center at 745-0045. Amanda Kirk is the director of Shenanigans! and is available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
