Jacob Cox stars as Danny Zuko and Laura Musick stars as Sandy Dumbrowski in West Jessamine High School's production of "Grease," which opens tonight at 7:30 p.m..
Other performances will be April 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m.. The April 23 performance will include interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing. Cost of admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students.
"Grease," a musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, is based on the sub-cultures of high school life in the 1950s at Rydell High School. In 1978, "Grease" became a cult-classic with a feature-film adaptation starring John Travolta and Olivia Newtown-John.
