GERALD A. HARRINGTON

Gerald A. Harrington, 89, of Winchester, died Tuesday. Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

PAULINE â??POLLY' ROGERS MAHONEY

Pauline "Polly" Rogers Mahoney passed away at her home on April 21, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was a devoted and beloved mother, sister, friend and a member of the Crievewood Baptist Church. She was born in Winchester.

She is survived by her children William John Mahoney III, Barry James Mahoney and Angelia Van Vranken; grandson Jacob Van Vranken; sisters Flora (Jo) Vanicek and Patsy Jesmore, and brothers Don Rogers, Buddy Rogers and Mike Rogers.

She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include Eddie Gilvin, Brian Gilvin, Billy Vanicek, Phillip Van Vranken, Jacob Van Vranken, Don Rogers and Dan Kerr.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Rogers, Polly Minyard, Vic Coode, the Ya Ya Sisters, Darin Pavone, Charles Rogers, Eddie Kenderdine and Jeff Gregson.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with Dr. Joseph Roses, pastor of Crievewood Baptist Church, officiating the services.

In lieu of usual remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Mahoney be made to Odyssey Healthcare Hospice Services of Nashville, 444 Metroplex Drive, Nashville, TN 37211.

DEAN GARBER

Dean Garber, 70, husband of Betty Jo Garber, passed away today at St. Joseph Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at Scobee Funeral Home.

BETTY SAYLOR BOND

Betty Saylor Bond, 75, of Waterworks Road, widow of Prescott Bond, passed away Wednesday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

A native of Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pansey Reed Saylor. She was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church and former employee for G.T.E. Sylvania.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia Ann Bond of Winchester and Connie Bond (Vic) Wilson of Winchester; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Linda) Saylor of Lexington and Ernest Wayne Saylor of Winchester; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Fuller of Winchester, Judy (Porter) Lamb of Winchester and Nancy (Garland) Brookshire of Clark County; two grandchildren, Scott (Jackie) Bond of Clay City and Jerry C. Bond II of Clark County; two great-grandchildren, Bo J. Bond and Clayborne Bond.

Preceded in death by three sons, Jerry C. Bond, Andy Ray Bond, and Terry Lee Bond, and one grandson, Joseph Dale Wilson.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. by Dr. Ed Mesta at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday.

Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jerry C. Bond II, Scott Bond, Vic Wilson, Chuck Saylor, Kenneth Ragland, Boyd Tipton Jr., Paul Richardson and Eddie Jackson.
