School board meets tonight on staffing

The Clark County Board of Education will meet in special session at 6:30 p.m. today in the board room at the Central Office. Items on the agenda include an update and action on school staffing plans and extended day budget amounts, an energy audit report from Harshaw Trane and reviewing copier contract proposals.

Board of Health cancels meeting

The Clark County Board Of Health meeting originally scheduled for Thursday has been postponed. The new meeting date will be announced when it is set. Contact Scott Lockard at 744-4482 with any questions.

TLC meets May 6

TLC members will meet at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday behind McDonald's to leave for a trip to the Cleveland House.

School board will discuss high school

The Clark County Board of Education scheduled a special meeting for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to review the high school building program and meet with the architects. The only other item on the agenda is discussing a sidewalk project from Lykins Park to Central Elementary. The meeting will be in the board room at the Central Office.

Lions Club to meet

The Winchester Lions Club will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Breaking Bread Cafe on West Lexington Avenue.

Providence site-based council to meet next week

Providence Elementary School's site-based decision-making council will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 in the school library.

Hannah McClure Site-based Council meetings Tuesday

The Hannah McClure Site-based Council will meet Tuesday in the library at 4:30 p.m.

The school's PTO will meet the same day at 6 p.m. in the library.
