WINCHESTER - Local musician Bradlee Burtner will be the featured entertainer at Expressions Coffeehouse tonight at 7 p.m. Each week the restaurant will showcase a different musician and offer a dinner special, beginning at 7 p.m. This week Expressions will serve jambalaya and cornbread. The performance will last until 10 p.m. Expressions is located at 2 S. Main St.

Mayfest Arts Fair

LEXINGTON - Beginning at 10 a.m. today, Gratz Park will host a juried art fair with up to 100 artists and vendors. The fair is a casual, family-friendly event and features live music, a full-length play by the Lexington Children's Theatre, food, a traditional Maypole dance, a petting zoo and plenty of children's activities. Gratz Park is located at 250 W. Third St. The fair will be open until 6 p.m. and reopen Sunday at 11 a.m.

WINCHESTER - The Clark County Writers' Group will meet at the Clark County Public Library today at 7 p.m. The group is open to anyone in Clark County interested in improving his or her skills as a writer. No pre-registration is required and all writers are welcome.

Golf Tournament

WINCHESTER - This year's Clark County Junior Miss, Michelle Rodgers, won the state title and will be vying for the national title later this summer. Festival

WINCHESTER - Spend the day enjoying downtown Winchester, and some great food. The festival kicks off at 10 a.m. and will include a beer cheese cook-off in two categories, commercial and homemade. Clark County Junior Miss Program

WINCHESTER - This annual event gives local girls the chance to show off their academic and athletic ability while competing for scholarship money. The Junior Miss Program is for girls entering their senior year of high school and is open to all interested young women. The winner will also have the opportunity to compete for the state title. Participants must present a talent and will be judged on their performance in the classroom. The public is invited to watch the competition, held at the George Rogers Clark High School auditorium.
