WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

- Brian S. Miller, 34, of 425 Oreo Drive, was charged Monday with failure to appear and was served with a child support warrant.

- Sherry F. Banks, 49, of 1132 Dale Drive, was charged Monday with second-degree bail jumping.

Report

- At 1:32 p.m. Monday, Pam Stamper of 313 Silverton Way reported that someone took a digital camera, cash and a bottle of Lortabs from her vehicle when it was parked on Silverton Way.

Accident

- At 12:04 p.m. Monday, officers responded to an injury accident on South Main Street in which Tammy Espinoza of 451 Jameson Way was turning from South Main Street onto Lexington Avenue when her cell phone rang. As she answered it, a pedestrian in the crosswalk stepped in front of her car and was struck by her car. The pedestrian, Elizabeth Rojas of 288 April Way, was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

- Joshua Crowe, 20, of Mount Sterling, was charged Monday with third-degree burglary.

- At 7:20 a.m. May 13, Phil Thull of 403 Verna Drive reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle during the night and took a CD player and several compact discs, together valued at $375.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

- On Monday, emergency personnel conducted two local transfers and two out-of-town transfers. They also responded to one motor vehicle accident, two general medical calls, one respiratory case and one fall.
