Local ghost-hunting group teams up with Perryville Battlefield

May 20, 2009

PERRYVILLE - Saturday, Perryville Battlefield will be taken over by curious adventurers seeking out the ghosts of the past.

Led by a professional paranormal investigative group, Spirit Hunters Of Central Kentucky (SHOCK), the public is invited to try ghost hunting. The evening's activities will begin with a short presentation featuring bone chilling evidence from other SHOCK investigations. Attendees will then be invited to join SHOCK and gather their own evidence of the ghosts that still walk the battlefield.

This is the first in a series of ghost walks slated for the battlefield this year. SHOCK was invited by the park to participate in a similar event in October during the Battle of Perryville reenactment festivities. Due to that amazing turnout, SHOCK has been asked to lead three more investigations including this months, then again in July and October.

SHOCK is based out of Harrodsburg. The group conducts professional paranormal investigations in both residential and commercial locations. It will be featured at an upcoming event in Atlanta called Through The Veil: A Paranormal and Metaphysical Gathering. The group also is on the management team for ScareFest, the country's largest horror and paranormal convention coming in September to Lexington.
