She was an employee of Charleston Health Care in Danville and Walmart in Harrodsburg, and a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Megan Brooks of Harrodsburg; a granddaughter, Kaylee Gregory of Harrodsburg; and two sisters, Judy (Tony) Walls of Florida and Mary (Donnie) Pulliam of Harrodsburg.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday after 6 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home.
Pam Harmon 1949-2009
Pam Harmon, 59, of Danville, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009, at her residence. Born Monday, May 23, 1949, in Lake Tahoe, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Dorothy M. Cheek Garrett. She was a data processor at Farmer's National Bank. Pam was a Methodist and a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Harmon of Danville; a son, Clint (Shea) Harmon of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Holly and Stephanie Harmon of Danville; a sister, Pat (J.R.) Wilson of Pulaski, Tenn.; and a granddaughter, Avery Harmon of Harrodsburg.
An appreciation of life service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Gorley, Collins Polk, Tommy Harmon, J.R. Wilson, Tommy Simpson and Frank Chelf. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Aruna Arekapudi, Dr. Finley Hendrickson, Dr. John Lacy, Dr. Charles Papp, Kelly Emerson, Jessie Cocanougher and Debbie Walls.

Richard Smith 1929-2009
Richard Smith, 79, of Lancaster, died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital.
He was born Oct. 28, 1929. He was a farmer, retired from Whirlpool and a member of Davistown Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Gary Robinson; a brother, Charles Smith; and a nephew, Burnette Wheathers.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Davistown Baptist Church, with burial in Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Morris Scherrer 1935-2009
LIBERTY - Morris Scherrer, 73, of Liberty, died Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Oscar and Ethel Grooms Scherrer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Jean Clements Scherrer.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharleen Edwards and Beverly Cochran of Liberty, and Janice Goode of Columbia; a son, Raymond Scherrer of Liberty; two sisters, Mary Hale of Danville and Opal Snodgrass of Liberty; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartle Funeral Home, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Clarence Smith 1952-2009
LIBERTY - Clarence Smith, 56, of Danville, died Thursday.
Born Aug. 16, 1952, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Bill and Lillie Morgan Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Pam DeHart Smith; three sons, Scottie and Wyatt Smith of Dunnville, and Richie Smith of Monticello; a step-son, Keith Davis of Dunnville; a sister, Dale Burleson of Dunnville; and seven grandchildren.
Services are 3 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation is after 8 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Donald Tucker 1956-2009
LIBERTY - Donald Tucker, 53, of Science Hill, died Thursday.
He was the son of the late Howard Tucker and Hazel Rodgers Denson. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Dewayne Tucker; and two sisters, Barbara Tucker and Alta Mae Wheat.
Survivors include four sisters, Ruby Downs, Linda Thompson and Pauline Robinson, all of Russell Springs, and Ruthie Hatter of Liberty; and three brothers, Alvie and Henry Tucker of Russell Springs, and Charlie Summers of Hustonville.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home, with burial in Whited Cemetery.

Joseph Peavler 1939-2009
HARRODSBURG - Joseph W. "Billy" Peavler, 69, of Burgin died Wednesday at University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born Aug. 25, 1939, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late William and Josie Marksbury Peavler.
Survivors include a step-mother, Nan Peavler of Greenwood, Ind.; two daughters, Lawana (Ethan) Wilson of Richmond and Melody (Brent McGaughey) Greenup of Waddy; and three grandchildren, Robyn Wilson, Cameron Wilson and Samantha Greenup.
