Precinct workers are reporting a light turnout for today's primary election. Polls opened at 6 a.m. today and at mid-morning, a spot-check of precincts showed voter turnout was exceptionally light. Only two contested races are on the Democratic ballot and one on the Republican ballot.

Students from Pilot View recently watched a rocket race by them in a contest held for Gary Coyle's sixth grade science class. The contest finished in a week, during which Coyle's class studied the metric system and aerodynamics. The winner received a hamster.

George Cowan, Lexington, an advisory programmer with IBM, presented a computerized Biblical program to members and guests of the Live Longer and Like It Club of Central Baptist Church during the May meeting at the church.
