Vestina Stimetz, 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Sunday, June 28 at her home.
A native of Middlesboro, she was born Tuesday, June 20, 1939, to the late Jim and Mahale Evans Parton. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and the widow of George Preston Stimetz.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara Raines, Dora (Rendy) Jones and Ruby Stimetz (companion, Wayne Freeman); sons, David Lee (Katherine) Stimetz, George Edwin (Tracy) Stimetz and Glenn Ray (Vivian) Stimetz; and a brother, Troy Parton.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today (July 2) at K.P. Hall Cemetery. Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
