Cora Elizabeth Beagle Smith, 72, wife of James Smith, died Tuesday, June 30. She was a former customer service employee of Walmart. Additional survivors are three daughters, Linda Caudel and Holly Smith of Lexington, and Darlene McQuire of New York, three sons, Wayne Smith of Lexington, Bobby Smith of Nicholasville and Terry Smith of Wilmore, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members. Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Barnes officiating. Burial was in Kentontown Cemetery.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. Thursday until time of service. Bearers were Wayne, Bobby and Terry Smith, Peter Rivera, Jimmy Lewis and Kolby Harris.
Honorary bearer was Michael Smith.
