The Nicholasville Police Department is asking for the public's help in its search for a robbery suspect. The robbery occurred around 1 a.m. Wednesday, at the Circle K at the corner of Edgewood Drive and U.S. 27.
According to an NPD news release, a white male entered the store with a handgun and demanded cash and a carton of cigarettes.
He is described as wearing a red or pink camouflage hoodie, a white ball cap and had a red bandana tied around his face. He was also wearing blue jeans and tennis shoes.
Police said the clerk complied with the demands and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
