The city of Harrodsburg issued a boil water advisory Monday for Hanover Manor subdivision, which includes the following streets: Atlee Drive, Ellerson Street, Henrico Road, Hildeen Drive and Ashley Drive. The advisory includes all the water department customers in the area.
The advisory is expected to last at least until 6 p.m. Tuesday, but may run longer depending upon analytical results of water samples that will be taken to the laboratory after full service pressure is returned later Monday. If the samples are certified as clear of any bacteriological contamination, the boil water advisory will be canceled and customers will be notified.
