Three arrested in string of burglaries

Three people suspected of burglarizing homes in Jessamine County were arrested in Wilmore Monday.

Daniel Biddle, 18, 210 Garnett Drive; Aaron Jackson, 19, 1247 Short Shun Pike; and Dustin Watson, 19, 216 Leesburg Road, Harrodsburg, were each arrested and charged with possession of burglary tools and receiving stolen property more than $300, Jessamine County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Allen Peel said.

The three were pulled over by Wilmore police in a 1988 Toyota Camry on West Main Street around 1:20 p.m. for not wearing seat belts, according to a Wilmore police report.

A search of the car found marijuana, power tools and items that had been reported stolen from homes earlier in the day including a laptop and two GPS systems.

They were arrested and taken to the Jessamine County Sheriff's Office for questioning.

They suspects are being housed at the Jessamine County Detention Center on $7,500 bond each.

Their court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 31 at 2 p.m.

The Jessamine County Sheriff's Office made the arrests.
