Russell Hill, 91, died Aug. 14 at his home. He was born in Jessamine County at Lock 8 on March 21, 1918, to the late Miles and Melinda Hill. He lived in Adams County, Ohio, for 52 years. He retired from the Randall Co. He was a member and deacon of the Seamon Church of Christ. After returning to Nicholasville, he attended Little Hickman Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Geneva Peel Hill, son, Harold and wife Leslie Hill of Florida, daughter, Wanda and husband Ron Tingley, two sisters, Rose Brooks of Nicholasville, Alma Carroll of Florida, two brothers, James Hill Jr. of Ohio, Kenneth and wife Betty Hill of Florida, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Siblings who proceeded him in death were, Emma Teater, Virginia List, Robert and Roy Hill. Services and burial were held on Aug. 18.
