Elwood S. "PeeWee" King, 77, of Alum Springs Crosspike, died Saturday, Aug. 22 in Lexington.
A native of Parksville, he was born Thursday, Oct. 15, 1931, to the late Oscar and Irene Hilliard King. He was owner/operator of Danville Acoustics and a member of Parksville Knob Independent Baptist Church, the American Saddlebred Association and the Dix River Coon Club.
Survivors include his wife, Reatha Sutton King; sons, Kenneth Elwood King and Johnny Wayne King; daughters, Cindy (Sam) Martin and Kathy Wells; sister, Dorothy (Charles) Sutton; and half-sisters, Kathy (Charlie) Prince, Sylvia (Mel) Long and Wanda Ulmer.
Funeral services were Aug. 26 at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial was in King Family Cemetery.
