Kenneth Anderson and Clay Wills were elected to the board of directors of Southern States Clark Co-op at its annual membership meeting Aug. 13.
More than 225 stockholder-members and their families attended the meeting held at the Clark County Fairgrounds.
Anderson was elected as chairman and president of the board, while Zeldon Angel was named vice chairman and vice president.
Kim Anderson, Mandy Hall were elected to the Southern States Farm Home Advisory Committee. Hall was chosen chairman of the committee, while Bethany Reed was named secretary.
The meeting also included a report by Southern States District Manager Randy Anderson, of Jeffersonville, on major developments at the cooperative during the past year.
Co-op Manager Don Denton, reviewing local operations and services, reported the total operating volume for the past year was about $4,569,000. The meeting included a recognition ceremony for retiring board member and Farm Home Advisory Committee member John Chism.
