William J. "Bill" Christen, 61, of Lexington, formerly of Hustonville, died Thursday, Aug. 27 at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he was born Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1948, to the late William Russell and June Louise Morrell Christen. He was a financial planner, former president for the East Dayton Optimist Club, Vietnam Army veteran and member of the Stanford Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Christen of Lexington and sisters, Debbie (Steven) Wilhelm, Karen (William) Smith and Bonnie Christen.
Funeral services were Aug. 30 at Stanford Presbyterian Church with military honors.
Fox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
