Dan Hall, 70, of O'Hara Drive, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born Friday, Nov. 18, 1938, in Danville, he was a son of the late K.C. and Oval Lucinda Humble Hall. Dan was retired from Hall's Campers. He is a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.
Dan was a United States Army veteran. He was a car enthusiast and he enjoyed the beach, being in the sun, collecting knives and coins, spending time with family and watching UK on TV.
Survivors include his dear wife, whom he wed on July 31, 1959, Sarah Stines Hall; two sons, Alan (Kathy) Hall of Lexington and Mark (Kellie) Hall of Cleveland, Tenn.; a daughter, Donna (Jeff) Peek of Danville; three brothers, Tommy Hall of Lexington, Russell (Betty) Hall of Jensen Beach, Fla. and Dallas (Ruth) Hall of Norwood, N.C.; 11 grandchildren, Clay, Chad, Kole, Kendall, Klaire, Brooke, Matthew, Meghan, Sarah, Shane and Jarrod; and a great-grandson, Charlie.
