ROBERT LEWIS ESTES

Robert Lewis Estes, 47, of New Albany, Ind., formerly of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. 

He was born in Clark County on March 24, 1962 to the late Helen L. Jackson Estes and Robert Lee Estes, who survives in Trapp.  

He was a former truck driver and member of the Parkway Southern Baptist Church in New Albany, Ind. 

In addition to his father, he is survived by his fiancee, Irene Bowers of New Albany, Ind.; one brother, David Wayne Estes of Winchester; and one sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Louise (Bill) Kennon of Winchester. 

Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. 

Burial will be in the Kendall Springs Cemetery in Owingsville, Ky. 

JOSEPH LUPIEN III

Joseph Lupien III of Clark County passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by long time friend, Joyce Owens of Lexington.

Memorial services will be conducted at the Elks Lodge No. 2816 at 255 Shoppers Drive in Winchester at 2 p.m. Sept. 20.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted at the memorial service for help with expenses.

Refreshments will be served after service.

All friends are invited to join in celebrating Joe's life.

LUCY ELLEN GOUGH

Lucy Ellen Gough, 95, of Lexington, formerly of Winchester, died at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Unit, Lexington.

A native of Pike County, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Gooslin and Nancy Jane Varney.

Mrs. Gough was a graduate of the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Lexington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gough, as well as one sister, one brother and a granddaughter.

Survivors include four daughters, Betty Stallins of Mayfield, Vicky (Don) Dixon of Tullahoma, Tenn., Dorothy (Roger) Booth of Indianapolis, Ind. and Patsy (Jack) London of Augusta, Ga.; a son, Carl (Shirley) Gough of Lexington; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at Scobee Funeral Home with graveside services at 11:30 a.m. at Clarmont Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Richard Wilkins.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jim Fluty, Keith Dixon, Michael Gough, Barrett Gough, Jake London and Jonathan London.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may take the form of contributions to the Kentucky School for the Deaf, P.O. Box 27, Danville, KY 40423 or to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.

BONNIE MAE ABNEY

Bonnie Mae Abney, 71, passed away Friday at 2:55 a.m. at the Saint Joseph Hospice Unit. A native of Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Holland Ashcraft.

Mrs. Abney was a retired Super 8 Motel bookkeeper and a member of the Christian church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Keith of Bronston and Beverly Abney of Somerset; a son, Kenneth Abney of Somerset; three grandchildren, Justin Abney, Candace Abney and Brandon Keith; a great-grandchild, Madison Abney; three sisters, Carol Lee Brock, Maryann Fields and Sharon Rowland; two brothers, Carl Wayne Ashcraft and Ray Ashcraft; three step-children, Charles, Pauline and Diane; a number of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Scobee Funeral Home by Bro. Tommy Schooler.

Burial will follow in the Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from noon until the hour of service.
